How the dates are calculated

The week containing your anchor is A. Each seven-day step alternates A and B, including dates before the anchor. With Monday 5 October 2026 as the anchor, Wednesday 14 October falls in Week B, 12–18 October.

Day counting uses calendar dates at noon UTC, so daylight-saving changes do not turn a day into a fraction. 5–8 October is three days between dates, or four dates when both ends count. This is not a working-day or school-day count.
